Commercial & Hospitality Photography in Dubai
Hotels, restaurants, interiors, food, products and events, shot for print and social.
We shoot commercial photography in Dubai for hotels, restaurants, brands and events. The bulk of it is hospitality — properties, food and the guest experience — which is demanding work because the subject is atmosphere rather than an object.
A suite photographed for a brochure and the same suite photographed for Instagram are not the same picture. Treating them as one is why so much hotel photography looks interchangeable, and it is the reason we agree the shot list and the end use before anyone arrives on site.
What we photograph
Hotels & resorts
Rooms and suites by category, spa, pool, gym, public areas, arrival and exteriors across the day.
Food & beverage
Dishes, drinks, table settings and service moments, shot in the room during the hours the light works.
Interiors & architecture
Spaces photographed for the way they are used, not only for the way they were drawn.
Product
Clean-background and lifestyle product photography for ecommerce, campaigns and retail.
Corporate & portraits
Team and leadership portraits, offices and workplace photography with consistent lighting across a set.
Events
Conferences, launches and gala dinners — speakers, branding, stage, guests and the room as it actually looked.
How a shoot is planned
Photography goes wrong on the schedule more often than on the camera. Interiors change completely between mid-afternoon and dusk, a restaurant can only be shot empty during a narrow window, and food has a few usable minutes once it is plated. So a shoot is built backwards from those constraints.
We agree a shot list covering everything that must be captured, confirm access and the hours each space is available, decide what needs styling or dressing, and set the order of the day around the light. Retouching is agreed at the same time, because how far an image is worked is a decision, not a default.
What changes the cost
No package rates. Photography pricing in Dubai depends on the number of shoot days and hours, how many locations or room categories are covered, styling and talent, equipment and lighting requirements, location permissions, the depth of retouching, the number of final images, and the usage rights the images are licensed for.
Usage is the one clients most often overlook, and the one that most affects value. Images licensed for social only are a different purchase from images cleared for advertising and OTA distribution. Tell us where they will run and the quotation reflects it honestly.
Stills and moving image together
Most of our clients need both. Where a project calls for film as well as photographs, the same team covers it — see video production — and where a property benefits from an establishing shot from above, we hold DCAA and GCAA licensing for aerial filming, subject to approval for the location and date.
Questions
Common questions
What kinds of photography do you shoot?
Hotels and resorts, restaurants and food, interiors and architecture, products, lifestyle and corporate portraits, plus event coverage. Most of it is hospitality, which is where the majority of our published work comes from.
Do you shoot photography and video on the same day?
Often, and it usually saves money. A property is dressed, lit and staffed once, and both crews work to a single schedule. It has to be planned as one shoot from the start, though — bolting video onto a stills day rarely produces good video.
How many images do we receive?
It depends on the shot list rather than a fixed count. We agree what has to be covered before the day — room categories, facilities, dishes, details, exteriors — and deliver the selected, retouched frames against it, not an unedited dump of everything captured.
Do you provide images in different crops for social?
Yes. A frame composed for a website hero and the same subject composed for a vertical feed are different photographs, so where both are needed we shoot both rather than cropping one into the other.
What affects the cost of a photo shoot?
Shoot days and hours, the number of locations or room categories, whether food or talent styling is required, models, equipment and lighting, permissions, retouching depth, the number of final images and the usage rights you need. We quote against the final brief.
Can we use the photographs anywhere?
Usage is agreed in writing before the shoot, including duration and channels — websites, social, print, OTA listings, advertising. Being explicit up front avoids the common problem of discovering a licence does not cover a campaign later.
